Film Nights
A few years back I was part of a collective that ran short film nights in The Locomotive. I put programs together for two of them, check them out here and here.
Now to raise funds and publicity for The Strawberry Fair Film Festival and Strawberry Super 8, we are putting on preview nights at the The Locomotive.
Short Film Nights @ The Locomotive
The next event is on Sunday the 13th of May
The 2nd Strawberry Fair Film Festival Preview Night @ The Locomotive - 7pm Sunday the 13th of May - £4/£3
The 2nd Strawberry Fair Film Festival Preview Night is set for Sunday the 13th of May at The Locomotive. The screening begins at 7pm. Entrance is £4/£3 with all funds going to the film festival.

As in first preview event the bill is in two Halves. In the first half we have some of the best new short films from local and not so local filmmakers which have been submitted to The Strawberry Fair Film Festival. In the second half we have a selection of short Super 8 films which have been submitted to this years Strawberry Super 8. After some of the Super 8 shorts there will be Q&A sessions with their filmmakers.

The first event was held on Sunday the 8th of April, it is reviewed on onsuper8 and Marc Abrahams took some photos. The next event will be in May and its date is to be confirmed.

We will be showing the best new short films from local and not so local filmmakers. Also we will be showing Super 8 shorts from all over Europe and the World.

Eclectic Cabaret
Ive run a Cabaret event called Eclectic Cabaret for the last five years starting out at the much missed Cafe Afrika.

Eclectic Cabaret @ The ARU Kudos Bar is fortnightly starting every other Tuesday at 8.30pm. Its free to enter and student prices at the bar.
